Posted (edited)

Can be that I'll check it :)

Nope, doesn't work

I'll explain..

So when I start the game I've got cg_drawgun 1 so I can see my gun.

But only when I shoot It goes over to cg_drawgun 0 and when I stop shooting its back cg_drawgun 1

/cg_novoicechats 1 , especially for jays #2 and #3.

That function is also in the FA v-key menu.

you need a script for that, you can't do it with just a command

The Raziel config has this feature.  I use it too.  I need the gun to be drawn to remind me WTH weapon I have out!   :)

I don't remember if that cfg is in the tutorials or in a topic.

Not sure if you already managed to make a script with that feature yet if you had not you can download the one I just made in the attachment below. This is not the one in Raziel config. I have never used Raziel config before so I am not sure if the script used in that config is the same as the one I made but in theory the one I made should be able to work. If you have any problems with it I may be able to take a look at it. This is also for those who needs the same feature. Enjoy :)

Tested to work on F|A Silent server though I am not sure if it works in NoQuarter but it should be since the cvar used is universal regardless of the mods used. :)

Installation Instructions:

Unzip the zip file included in the attachment

Copy the file titled "gunscript.cfg" into your etmain folder

Add the line "exec gunscript.cfg" in your autoexec.cfg to load or you can manually type "/exec gunscript.cfg" in console when you are playing

Gunscriptv2.zip

No problem. Glad to help. If it works for you, maybe you can reply to this topic so others who want it for the same mod will know it works. :)

I will try it on Jaymod hold on. Works fine on F|A Recruiting. Tested and it works fine. Why don't you try it on F|A Recruiting or F|A jaymod 2 server
