On Mon 01/12/2014 11:48:17 p.m. GMT your computer crashed crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp uptime: 00:28:18 This was probably caused by the following module: hal.sys (hal!KfLowerIrql+0x61) Bugcheck code: 0x8E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0x0, 0xFFFFFFFFA7B2B4E8, 0x0) Error: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED Bug check description: This bug check indicates that a kernel-mode application generated an exception that the error handler did not catch. A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: hal.sys . This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time. Quote
Xernicus Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 hal.sys... Not a good sign. Run a command prompt as an Administrator while in Safe Mode, and type in "sfc /scannow". Let us know what the output of that is. 1 Quote

Papito Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 My inexpert eye read some interesting stuff! Did it work better after the last reboot? Indeed, no, I had 1 more after rebooting, so I reboot into Linux and it freeze, Im thinking is RAM but I dont know cuz wasnt failing a week ago. Quote
Leader RedBaird Posted December 2, 2014 Leader Posted December 2, 2014 Windows has a memory diagnostic tool that you can run. Or you can take all sticks out but one and boot with one at a time, to see if the BSODs only happen on one of them. Some of the lines in the CBS.txt implied that Explorer and other files were corrupted and restored from the sfc-storage. 1 Quote
Papito Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 Red @ This tool is like MemTest from Linux? It repair or show me damaged sectors in RAM? Quote
Vanaraud Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Can´t repair RAM... It´s just running health check on DDR-s. Also are your CPU and GPU temps in check? CPUID HWinfo comes in mind, also nVidia\AMD control panel would show it. Quote
Anton Chigurh Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Never seen memtest give a detailed failure. Try to run the windows performance index tool, if it freezes its prolly graphics. Quote

Papito Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 Did you try to run the windows performance index tool? Nope, How it works or How I should activate it? Quote
Anton Chigurh Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What i think is that u have issues with your graphics card. (hardware) en when u try to run this tool it will prolly freeze your pc. from the microsoft website. To view your computer's base score 1. Open Performance Information and Tools by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type Performance Information and Tools, and then, in the list of results, click Performance Information and Tools. 2.View the Windows Experience Index base score and subscores for your computer. If you recently upgraded your hardware and want to find out if your score has changed, click Re-run the assessment. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. If you don't see subscores and a base score, click Rate this computer. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. About the memtest, i have never seen it work. 2 Quote
