old clantag

Hi

 I need some help . when i joined some server , my old clantag shows up , I have tryed allmost everything to remove it m but seem not to work , So can someone pls tell me what to do .

Yeah saw that just now on jay2 .. do u use cfg if yes u need to change your name in that.and i think u tried the menu options i think u need to change it in your cfg.

I think I have tryed in my CFG also , but im not a pro .. and i have alot of crab in my folders , But is it my cfg in my jaymodfolder or main ?

you can check in this folders:

 

X:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\profiles\YourName\ autoexec.cfg or etconfig.cfg, open them with Notepad++ (better way to edit a cfg)

 

or here, depends your Mod, there should be an etconfig.cfg and autoexec.cfg, look for them, try to find what of those have your old clantag and delete the line after that just copy an paste over the other folders.

MOD = Jaymod, Silent, NQ, NoQuarter and etpro.

This particular config would be in your JayMod folder.

Alternatively, you can type /name "=F|A=LeatherFace".

Search in the all X:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory for your old name or part of it, and replace it in all the old cfgs by your current name

I enter this command in the consol
/ set name
followed by clantag and name and it's still definitely on every server
