Thundercats
Okay I am running windows 7. When I leave my cpu for a period of time it will of course put the screen into a black screen. When I hit any button it comes back on and I enter my password and its back to work/gaming. However, sometimes when I go to get back on both screens stay black and I can't get the cpu to get out until I do a hard restart. Any ideas why this happens
Pepsi
try and change your settings to where the screen won't go to sleep on you, and when it doesn't just come back on try pressing your sleep but because that should bring it back up
Xernicus
Hmm, sounds like perhaps you have a power configuration that has it set to sleep after so many minutes, and hibernate after that.

Heretic121
Mine hibernates after 30 minutes. Only times it doesn't is when I leave a game open, or I lock the screen.

Xernicus
I (personally) don't see anything wrong in this Hijack This log... but then again I haven't had my coffee yet, and I never have been good at reading this lines of pathnames and registry keys without any spacing... UAdave
is your computer set to sleep or hibernate after the inactivity? might want to try to reset the power config to defaults first. 1. Hit start, type 'cmd' in the search and enter 2. type powercfg -restoredefaultschemes and hit enter

Vanaraud
Might be a problem of PSU, videocard(zerocore technology), drivers or any combination of them GL;). Whats the PSU, cheap PSU´s might get out of spec while in sleep mode... While the hang problem occurs you can restart PC and check Control Panel\System and Security\Administrative Tools -> "Event Viewer" for hints.
