Spycid Posted August 25, 2014 Author Posted August 25, 2014 Use adwcleaner. What browser are you using? i use google chrome, is it good enough? I will try adwcleaner, thanks, Did you look through Add/Remove Programs? You can usually find it in there Yes i did, there's nothing suspicious in there :/ It was the first thing i tried Quote
Chameleon Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Google Chrome usually is great at stopping this sort of thing, and Spybot Search and Destroy usually removes anything it misses.. I've never been in that kind of situation before, maybe uninstalling the browser all together and re-installing may fix this issue, and would't take to long to do.. 2 Quote

Xernicus Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Good to hear mate. Try to keep it clean. I have had the issue of Firefox having an unapproved addon... and I believe it was because of an underlying virus. Might want to check for a rootkit.Malwarebyte's Anti Rootkit: https://www.malwarebytes.org/antirootkit/ 2 Quote
