Woah that's complicated. Only changed the settings via game's menu, it's a dot which indicates health lvl :D

seta cg_crosshairSize           "41"

seta cg_drawCrosshair           "4"

seta cg_crosshairPulse          "0"

seta cg_crosshairColor          "green"

seta cg_crosshairAlpha          "0"

seta cg_crosshairColorAlt       "green"

I've always been a fan of the tiny dot so I can see the most around it. Also, I've read that the human eye can detect more shades of green than any other color, so green provides the most contrast no matter what's in the background. No idea if true or not, but I like my setup :)

I personaly prefer the yellow, more visible, but i'm daltonian so may not be the same for all of us :D

Ah ok, yellow makes more sense then for sure.

Do you have drawgun at 0? Interesting, I tried it for a little bit, and my accuracy went up, but it just felt weird and I couldn't get used to it.

Yes i've tried but couldn't get used to it neither ^^ (since i've played in 2003 and I didn't know it was possible in that time to draw off the gun and kinda tweak the game)

RED!

BluE*! you mean ?! ^^

That's the same set-up I have. Except I have drawgun set to 0. Took a while to get used to but now if the gun is showing I find it weird and it 'gets in the way'.

I started to play with this crosshair in last week. SS seems to be a lot of darker than its actually in-game.

if you're color blind then you could make some color toggle script, to cycle between colors according to the map you are playing

on bright maps like fueldump I prefer a dark blue crosshair, normally white or yellow, I also have cyan in my cycle script

Cyan dot, a little bigger than the average I guess. I find it hard to keep track with that ultrasmall dots when there are screenshakes.

cg_crosshairalpha "1.0"
cg_crosshairalphaalt "1.0"
cg_crosshaircolor "cyan"
cg_crosshaircoloralt "cyan"
cg_crosshairhealth "0"

cg_crosshairy "1" <- instapwn :P

hhehe but crosshairsize depends of your resolution too ... !!

mine is 1366 * 768 LAPTOP

I like my crosshair n°3, I think i'm more accurate with this cyan full circle (very helpful on bright map too, visible on snow, easier to focus on), and small yellow dot (38.5 size today change) for head tracking :)

the default size is 48,
- so s3ti, you got a pretty BIG one^^ (+ "cg_crosshairy "1" <- instapwn" i've tried it once, it makes your crosshair a little higher or lower vertically depending on the value 0-1 I think, not a good match with me)

 - and meow with 45 it's not that tiny dot :P

I'm begining to have a very personnal config that works better and better, i'm preparing making demos, then maybe anyone could help me with video making? :D
