TrickJump

Hi, I am an old player that just restarted playing last 3 day (5 year break) i have been in -{FoB}- / SB (as t001) / [=G!X=] (i know...) anyway! 

 

i am posting this bread to ask you guys to bring trickjump back in ET as of now, its looking like trickjumping is dead... there are some server but they are broken,empty and left alone. Maybe you guys could run a 8 slot test server to see if people would play. it would be awesome! just to get there relax and have fun with friend! here a video of trickjumping

 there are some server but they are broken,empty and left alone.

so will that server be...its pretty hard to populate a tj server especially after about 2 weeks of it being a bit populated it would die as most do..

There has been already a post about this, recently...

 

Etpro sw server has a votable TJ config, but it's made for regular jumps, not gammas (b_fixedphysics is 1 like in competition config, while this setting sux for gamma - where you usually have pmove_fixed 1 or nothing + 125fps)

 

gammajump maps or specific tj maps are missing, but if you want to practice some standard jumps you can still go there

we could add the map quakejump, its just a map where you have to run through about 40 small jumps that are located in very known maps, no gammas. it can help people learning some tricks and maybe find something useful. you can easily play it on this tjcfg I think

I think=F|A= had a trick jump server a long time ago. I usually spent like 4 hours daily on that server and it was pretty much empty most of the time (player peak was like 6 online).

 

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot that it wasn't hosted by =F|A=. Sorry my memory is kinda blurry about those days, but what I remember is that most people that populated that server where F|A members, so it's kinda the same.
