speedfact Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) Could be because the server reads that it has 29 players, when only a few are on....but if thats the case our other servers should be banned too.... I'll look into it...probably just a misunderstanding. Figured out reason and it is what dom pointed out. The server was set for a few weeks at 20 players....but was fixed eventually. But I guess while we were having the issue the server was banned. Even though in master server list the server usually would say 0/20..unless someone was on it then it would say 20+ the amount of players on the server. As noted here: um cant link private section but title is "promod bug" by cyen... plus the whatsapp convos....i had with you about it DD. Think theres another topic somewhere lol Anyways problem got fixed so should be unbanned unless they get piss about the now 29/32 thingy... Edited February 8, 2014 by speedfact 2 Quote

Will help prevent those who are clicking away from tagging or tking and dying themselves on round starts, along a quick break between rounds to xfire/steam, get a drink, change classes, etc.2. Friendly Fire, I feel should be switched off for the server since its a pub. All the NA/EU pub servers have it off, avoids killing teammates when learning new nades, strats and so on, and to avoid those people who constantly gang up by both taking damage teamkilling someone they dont like. Usually one tags, 2nd tags, then first or whoever it is usually finishes off to share the damage and not kill themselves. Happens far more then you think, or people who constantly throw nades, flashes, or tags teammates constantly, gets a bit annoying.3. Killcams, these aren't needed, but its a request from majority of promod pub players on all pub servers. The ability to see where one kills you from (if not 100% sure how they killed you or from), help teach people spots and peaks, along verifies the kill from their POV to see if it was a clean shot, or possibly cheating, along a Final killcam for all to watch of the last kill on each round (maybe a seperate mod).4. Rotation, server has some promod maps already, along other maps that dont or shouldn't be played on promod. It is fun to play new maps, but the feeling that they have with the mod, size, just doesn't feel right. The usual promod map rotation is....Backlot, Citystreets, Vacant, Crash, Strike, Crossfire, or commonly used in leagues and not pubs, Cluster and Marketcenter (custom maps). So possibly the adding of maps and removal of others may help boost the populatity of the server player wise.5. Admins, from time to time a stray hacker comes in, or someone who just constantly talks crap, flames, or just abusing the friendly fire, or other things to ruin the fun of others can be kicked. I know, or think there are a few who are able to admin it, not sure. But should always give it down to some of the FA people who play there constantly, know the regulars, and able to catch and spot hacks, abuse from players and boot them right away, along wont abuse the powers themselves.So far these are all I could think of to possibly help get more of a population in the server, and help it be funner. It seems my connection to the server is being iffy and only updated killcams and not a 5 sec delay between matches....along with a sudden death round to break tie breakers lol. It will help you learn not to shoot your own teammates and sharpen peoples skills better. Maybe help them look before they shoot. 3. Its a type of game play within Call of duty, just like zombies and paintball. The only difference is promod is usually made up of pro players and most tournaments within call of duty are played by promod players. The configs are also different than normal play. The sound is also turned up and weapons are limited. If you want more explanation I suggest looking it up on youtube. Mod means a modified version of the game. Usually they are free to download and give a fun exciting twist the the normal game play of COD4 1 Quote
