CheepHeep Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Hey guys, I'm having difficulty binding classes. I currently have 3 binds for medic, fop and engi with smg. I also wanted single pistol as default instead of akimbo and was told that m 1 1 was the answer in "medics" case but when i joined the server and tested it out, i still spawned with akimbos. Any solutions? I tried to bind engi with rnade, went on the server but didnt work. I would aslo like to know how to bind panzer with thompson Thanks in advance. P.S. Heres what i put when binding engi with rnade: bind F9 "class e 2;say_team ^5->^7eng w/ rnade" Edited January 22, 2014 by CheepHeep Quote
Clan Friend SunLight Posted January 22, 2014 Clan Friend Posted January 22, 2014 Silent Mod? On silent there is an extra weapon, so weapon indexes don't match with the standard (etpro configs, etpub, etc.) 1 Quote
Teukka Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 What I know about 1 pistol in class binds, I usually choose it in limbo menu when I join game and then it will follow my binds time I play unless I go soldier with smg that messes double for me again. And about rifle etc, SunLight is right. Quote
CheepHeep Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 So its not possible to bind engi with rnade or soldier with panzer on a silEnT mod server? Quote
Clan Friend SunLight Posted January 23, 2014 Clan Friend Posted January 23, 2014 So its not possible to bind engi with rnade or soldier with panzer on a silEnT mod server? you just need to know the correct number for the weapon I think Quote
CheepHeep Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 you just need to know the correct number for the weapon I think Hmm, so does anybody know the 'correct' number. Thanks in advance Quote
Chuckun Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 (edited) I don't know the correct number, but just try it out in the console until you get the right one, there are only a few choices Maybe then you can post results here for others to us in the future Edited January 24, 2014 by Chuckun 1 Quote
Clan Friend SunLight Posted January 24, 2014 Clan Friend Posted January 24, 2014 you can try to selfkill several times with different values and see yourself in my silent mod config I have /class e 2 for engi+rifle, I played yesterday with rifle on Hardcore, and it works. ...but it's the same I use on etpro lol, yet I remember clearly that in the past I had to change something. I think that it depends on which weapons are enabled in the server, if the server has thompson+mp40 available then class e 2 (as allied) will give you mp40, and class e 3 will give you the garand. I don't think there is a setting that works everywhere. 1 Quote
CheepHeep Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 (edited) Hmm okay thanks for replies. I'll go test it out. Got rnade and single to work. bind F3 "class s 4 3;say_team ^1->^7Soldier w/ flamer"bind F4 "class c 3 1;say_team ^5->^7Covy w/ sniper"bind F5 "class c 1 1;say_team ^5->^7Covy w/ sten"bind F6 "class m 1 1;say_team ^r->^7medic"bind F7 "class f 1;say_team ^s->^7fdops"bind F8 "class e 1;say_team ^5->^7eng w/ smg"bind F9 "class e 3;say_team ^5->^7eng w/ rnade"bind F10 "class s 5 3;say_team ^1->^7Soldier w/ Panzer" Thats my class binds. They all work like a charm now for spawn binds for rnade you need to add e 3 instead of e 2 for a server that allows 3 weapons for engineer. Of course it'd be e 2 for others. Then for single, add a '1'. Edited January 24, 2014 by CheepHeep 1 Quote
+Maluco. Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 bind F7 "vstr classengi" bind F8 "vstr classsoldier" bind F9 "vstr classcovop" set classengi "vstr classengi1" set classengi1 "vstr classrecycle; class e 1; set classengi vstr classengi2; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Engineer^2/^7SMG^7]"" set classengi2 "class e 3; set classengi vstr classengi1; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Engineer^2/^7Rifle^7]" set classsoldier "vstr classsoldier1" set classsoldier1 "vstr classrecycle; class s 4; set classsoldier vstr classsoldier2; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Soldier^2/^7Pf^7]"" set classsoldier2 "class s 5; set classsoldier vstr classsoldier3; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Soldier^2/^7Mortar^7]"" set classsoldier3 "class s 2; set classsoldier vstr classsoldier4; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Soldier^2/^7MG42^7]"" set classsoldier4 "class s 3; set classsoldier vstr classsoldier1; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Soldier^2/^7Flamer^7]"" set classcovop "vstr classcovop1" set classcovop1 "vstr classrecycle; class c 3; set classcovop vstr classcovop2; say_team "^3[spawn: ^0Covert^2/^7Sniper^7]"" set classcovop2 "class c 2; set classcovop vstr classcovop3; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Covert^2/^7FG42^7]"" set classcovop3 "class c 1; set classcovop vstr classcovop1; say_team "^7[spawn: ^0Covert^2/^7Sten^7]"" set classrecycle "set classengi vstr classengi1; set classcovop vstr classcovop1; set classsoldier vstr classsoldier1" for engineer is one key ->2 weapons for soldier is one key ->4 weapons... for covi is one key-> 3 weapons 3 Quote
