There are a lot of players who can play 2 lines at once. It's just more common in the flamenco and gypsy tradition. THe guys who are really good at it study how piano players do it. In general, though, you're supposed to be thinking about the counterpoint between you and the bassist the whole time, so it should be interactive (in other words, no set bass line).

LOL at first cuz of the effects I thought he wasn't actually playing it and it was a joke, and then I realized 0_o nope he's playing it. Nice vid. It's a mixture of HAHAHA and WOAH. Cool!
