cod4 server Beginners, my view.

Hello all,

 

On my started on Cod4, i always come on beginners server. The server was good, on we often can see one admin online. That was cool!

 

But his last time, beginners server don't give me any pleasure. We have always camper (and a lot of) extend on the floor, with a p90 silence. That was bored and do rage people who like rush on the map and go in ennemis spawn.. I just want to know what other member think about it. 

 

Because me, at my started, i rarely see camper on beginners!

 

When i say camper, it's not people with a sniper, because i respect sniper player (hard to do quickscope in Hc mode) or just hard do play sniper (i'm so bad  ) it's all "player" who play with p90 or M4 and wait behind a door and kill rusher player... (with uav jammer...)

 

This is what i think, i no i must not rage on camper, because it's "allowed" but i think we can have limit on camp..

 

But i LOVE =F|A= member and beginners   (when not so much camper lol)

 

And you, what do you think?? are you agree, or for you, camp allowed say all people can stay camp on their spawn?

im not a big fan of people using the p90 with a silencer and jammer sitting in corners waiting for you.

personally i like to rush with my ak74U or use the g3 silenced with jammer and try to get in the enemies team spawn, or get their campers from behind.

even though i dislike campers, you can kill them if you have the reflexes or know they are there, so they arent as big as a threat as many people think.

You can kill 1 or 2 camper, but when we see 5 camper on the annemis team, it's hard...

when its multiple campers then it does get harder indeed, but the m249 saw should solve that problem

A few thoughts of my own on this. It can be fun to fight fire with fire. Go silenced p90 with jammer  and 3x nades, but instead of camping, you hunt the campers. The thing with campers is you know where they are, at least after the first time they kill you. So you have the advantage.  Also I like to sneak up on them and misery loves company them (just hold a nade until it blows both them and I up). I think it's funny.

 

Second, beginners has not been as fun lately. I agree, for some reason it has not for me. For me it's not the campers, but other reasons I can't put my finger on. I have been playing in abner a lot more, and stopping by in Beginners to check in and make sure there is an admin. I only have 2-3 hours to play a week anymore, since I started my second job.

Also, about camp(ers/ing), it's a perfectly acceptable tactic. It's within our rules, regardless of whether you or anyone else likes it, so there won't be a limit, and I highly doubt there will be a rule change. Think about it from the view of all FA members; how much extra time would you spend enforcing the "No camping" rule, with or without the limit? There might be plenty of campers but if, like me, you suck then you're more likely to camp because that's the only way you'll kill anyone. Just because the camper keeps getting the drop on you, doesn't mean it's their fault and as such they shouldn't be the ones to be told off about it.

Sure there are the few that are decent aims and always camp, but that doesn't mean that the rest of us campers should suffer because you're angry with them

Agree with some of the comments above.  Generally guys like to camp one or two spots on a map and once you know where they are, you should be able to take them out.  I have a personal policy to always launch a nade into the tent after I am killed by a camper.  Surprising how many guys are still there.

 

I think part of learning the game is being able to adjust your strategy to the style of play around you.  Some times the run and gun strategy will result in a disastrous performance if the other team is dug in.  Slow down, check your corners, shoot into or nade popular camping spots.

I'm okay, play with camper is not fun

GL his not a problem for me, because i often do the bak to camper. But when so much player camp, it's impossible. And i use GL want i rage, vs camper...

I rush all the time and my KDR has been 1:1 since 2008. I need to a new game plan. I do agree on Abner though, if anyone is looking for a change of pace, Abner is a good place to do. Mixed game, good regulars, less trolls, and it's getting alot more visitors that it has in awhile.

There is also how would you define camping? I mean do players have to constantly be moving on the map? Does this mean you arent allowed to snipe? If so why not ban sniping too?

So campin is allowed for snipers but not for others? Then we would have a ton of snipers camping. I am sure we loss people over it but we also loss people if we have too many rules. We also loss people over not having kill cams, not having bullet proof vest, for having helis that kill too much and because im on the server.

Thanks! but unfortunately in this case one member isnt enough to be able to cover camping. We would need 4 times as many admins as we have right now. So to help you can recruit more people, then maybe we can start warning for camping.
