Downloading ET

Hey all.

I've been playing CoD4 for years now and I think it might be time to give ET a go. I remember playing it on a friend's computer years ago and liking it. I appologize if the information I'm looking for is somewhere on the forums but I don't really know where to look. My question is: does anyone have a link on where I can download ET? I think I've heard it's free now but I'm not totally sure.

Is that the one also be found on splashdamage website, because I had shitload of problems using that one and ended up using the file that I use for years now ^^

Tries to install shit like et_minimizer and failed hard on that

 

Positive thing about that one though: it gets you an etkey

 

 

ps. You don't have to install the minimizer

It's Enemy Territory from fearless assassins forum, it have the same file size as the one I downloaded on a external website.

it's rated 5 stars so I'll guess it's fine

got exact same name so I assume it's the same.

I never said it's a bad one, just that I had loots of problems with it.

 

But well I'm used to manual patch et anyway so I won't have a problem

When I downloaded it from FA downloads, a pop up appeared.

It has a few checkboxes and one of them is something like;

"create a guid if needed"

So it should make you one as long as you tick that box, if not you can always get one from here; http://www.etkey.net then click this button; "image of the website"

It has a tutorial there.

I'm sorry, I guess I should've checked around the forum to see if you had tutorials for this stuff.

I just tried giving a quick solve that I already knew, I'll check around the forums next time.
