Wifestein Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Does anyone in this clan do this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvZk_VeGmVY It's amazing how you can get so much for just a few dollars, just now on TV there was a guy who went shopping and got 885 dollar of food and drinks for free... I wonder if this is possible in Holland, if yes I'll do it for sure lmao If you're low on money, just do what these people do ;] Quote

TulsaGeoff Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I don't use coupons at grocery stores, but I have done several slick deals with coupons. Most recently got this chair - $170 for $4.99 + tax using the methods from slickdeals. It is a website I check often. I bought a $340 47" TV and sold it for $600 a couple weeks ago. http://www.staples.com/Staples-Torrent-Bonded-Leather-Managers-Chair-Black/product_923571?catalogId=10051&fromUrl=home&cmSearchKeyword=torrent+chair&cmArea=SEARCH&langId=-1&storeId=10001&ddkey=http:StaplesSearch http://slickdeals.net/f/4616204-Staples-Osgood-Torrent-highback-chair-29-99-AC-maybe-even-YMMV-9-99-AC?&page=21 Quote
Bosman Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I wonder what coupon she used for the rock on her finger...I paused the vid to check out this ring. Quote
Moxie_01 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 who on earth needs that much food for themselves? People saving for the apocalypse. Not a bad idea. I've been tempted to try this but it requires a lot of time consuming work. Which I just don't have the time or patience. Quote
Aniky Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Very good show, impressive to see that how much can they save, normally prices go up to 1.8k $ and all they pay is around 20-30$ at max. Normally they have big storage for save all this food and depending on the persons they either re-sell it, keep it for themselfs or put forward to some friends / family. Having up to some couple of hundreds coupons is just crazy, specially if u dont make a proper map to separate everything, but they re really smart when it comes to save the money. Quote
Panini*Hobbit@mp3 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) There used to be a regular customer of mine who would do this before, but since they moved me from checkouts I haven't see her since. Her subtotal would come up to maybe 250-300 euro and she'd get it for about 50 euro. Lots of coupons, but well worth it in the end! It is a great way to save money, and although some people might think they are crazy for stocking up on the stuff, at least when they run out they can just go "Oh well, there's 39 others there!" and won't have to waste gas going to the supermarket for 1/2 things Edited September 10, 2012 by Panini*Hobbit@mp3 Quote
rolf Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) I wonder if this is possible in Holland, if yes I'll do it for sure lmao Nope, not possible. In the Netherlands you can make a remark on it, e.g. max 1 coupon per person per checkout and not in combination with other coupons or something. In the US you can't do that.
