Six months ago we were having the exact same debate about limiting rifle grenades, because "everyone" was using them, and they were getting hated on. So they were limited and people don't like them anymore. And the airstrikes have been limited down to nothing. Try throwing an airstrike and get "too many planes in route" a few times and you'll never waste your power bar on it again. Fops used to be fun. Now nobody wants to be fops unless they are botting and want unlimited ammo. We had to add spawn protection and invisible walls to protect people from mortars. So mortars aren't as fun as they used to be either. Molotovs have been limited on some maps, and panzers, don't even get me started. Everybody hates anyone who is good with a panzer. People just switch to whatever remaining weapon is best and then everyone whines. Every weapon can be abused, and as we limit the availablity of weapons the remaining "good" ones get abused more and more. We are limiting the weapon biodiversity of the game.
