La Trappe is better imho, in blond/double/triple. But Leffe has more choice, although I usually won't drink those choices :P

The Bush amber is nice, but Bush blond is way better (but I like blond). Especially if at the end of the evening when you've only drank a few blondes, friends went on the double tour and you want to compassionate compensate beer :P

Maybe but I sure did like it.

Bush blond that's years ago since I last had that one.

Dunno why but I never liked Leffe (always considered it a too sweet).

btw you can't compare La Trappe with Leffe. La Trappe is trappist, leffe isn't. :serious face:

EDIT: dam... I missed that there is a trappist in Austria.

I can easily compare it. Trappist doesn't influence the taste of beer or the brewing process, only where it is brewed and with which purpose (e.g. non-profit) :P I usually compare abbey- and trappistbeer in a similar way. But indeed, I'm not blindly allowed to make that comparison.

Nice :D Must... have...

My favourite beers are belgian : tripel Karmeliet and Chimay

As a belgain I love all the tripel beers, the belgain tripels are the best in the world

tripel karmeliet (8,4% alc) Drunk it yesterday =)

tripel westmalle (9,5% alc)

And to finnish up a very exclusive beer (they don't sell it in the marked only at the brewery), if you are or plan on comming to belguim, and ofcourse you a beer lover than... stop at ...
