Which ET folder do I need to copy from old computer to new computer?

Yes ETKEY and maps goes to ETmain.

Only what you need is the file "etkey" !!! He is in the folder ETmain folder

I'd rather copy the whole Wolfenstein-Enemy Territory folder, instead of just etmain as there are files outside of etmain that you need (ET.exe being one of them) if there's no installation on new PC. However if you already did a new installation on new PC then DJ and Vanaraud are right.

ok , so my new computer has ET installed on it and I replaced my etmain folder with the one from the old pc. when i log on though i dont have a guid. . what do i need to do?

Toggle console in main menu(before joining any server) and type:

 

/pb_cl_enable

 

This should help, post result.

Apparently that doesnt work joker.. Tried everything with him last night.

Ok try this:

 

1, Open ET running as admin

2, create a new profile

3, set it default

4, type /pb_cl_enable and everything else Chuckun gave you

5, close ET

6, reopen ET and type /cl_guid to see if it worked.

I now have a guid! Created new profile and deleted the other one and followed all other suggestions and it worked!!!!!! Thanks guys

I have been copying same install since 2005-6 from one comp to another, never had any issues.
