My daughter's computer (my old one) is a pos dell celeron single core at 2.6, integrated graphics.

Will a cheap 50 dollar g-card be enough to run Wolfie, or do I need to build her a new computer?

Also, the old computer has all of 1 mb ram, running xp.

I hope you mean 1 GB RAM. And for W:et, i'm sure it'll run fine.

Northwood I think, it was socket 478, with an ati card

trickjump (gammajump) maps are often without many details, in normal maps it was still more than playable, but at the time I never played in servers with more than 16 slots...

I used to run et without a graphics card.. Just a 2.8 celeron :-)

i ran it on a p4 2.4 for a while back in 2004-5 with integrated graphics and an old trackball mouse that kept getting stuck...but my daughter needs all the help she can get with this game :)

Well then the answer is yes, a cheap card will probably give you stable 50FPS or something providing you dont use insanely high graphics settings..
