I remember about 14 years ago now, I used to get up early on Saturday mornings and turn on MTV for the European top 20. I would watch it then with my sister, my baby cousin and my mum and we would have a great time singing along to the songs.. although at the time we didn't know any of the words so we made up our own :3

 

Oh, and I remember when we were on holidays in Kerry where we would go every year for two weeks. We would spend nearly every night in the hotel not far from the place where we stayed. I always remember getting sent out to get the chips and stuff while my parents and aunts and uncles would just sit and enjoy their drinks Also remember winning lots of teddy bears from those picking machines.. I had the magic touch :3 Ahh memories!

I remember those. Ask Jeeves and Altavista were also popular during that time. And I remember using compu serve prior to AOL. You had to signup or join specific groups within it. I used to get game codes from it. What about geocities webpages? That was awhile back.

yeah, Altavista had the Babelfish translator. when google first came out, most of its searches returned with Geocities results. everyone had a geocities page for everything.

I remember the days where the only worry I had was with which toys I would play the next day.

power rangers one day, godzilla the next, wcw action figures the next, then g.i.joes. at the end of the week they all war with godzilla. then the power rangers bring out the Megazord.....and godzilla just smashes them all back into little zords and wins

I remember my dad bringing home the old skool pong/tennis /hockey game from Sears. I was the envy of the neighborhood.

i used to watch The Snorks and The Smurfs. they were the same thing essentially, just on land and in water. Wacky Races, Top Cat, Thunder Cats, Mummies Alive.....the list goes on.

I remember watching Mask, GI Joe (the cartoon) and Transformers on Saturday mornings on Fun Factory, back when Holland still had Sky channel. I believe the show was hosted by a rabbit and a crocodile.

Also, I used to play video games that were on cassettes. Took a while to load, but still, good times.
