It is. i've used this for years now.   I have the same settings, except r_overbrightsbits 3 maybe try this, working fine for me. I can post maybe later some screens.     EDIT: No needed to pos

I just tried this setting and I dont feel its an advantage. In fact, it doesnt help me somehow and even made my death rates higher. Coz my eyes are seeing more of the blackness than of the glowing lights TBH

The settings are not good indeed, they dont give the wanted 'shine' to players. thats why i gonna try out sheeps cfg :)
