Poll : What do you hate Most on Jaymod 1?

Well in general I like it, otherwise I wouldn't have played a lot there (now I play mostly in jay3)

 

I didn't vote because some options are missing, like:

- poison knives (I would accept it more if I died instantly, but that long agony is annoying)

- too many slots and spam for a decent gameplay in some maps, turning it all into a laggy lotto play where you never 1on1 but you always 1000vs1000 while you are hit by 2 mortars and arty (maybe this is covered under 'lag', since it's a side effect of too many players)

- sometimes stacking

- allowing bad internet settings (e.g.: me:'noob! 30 maxpackets blabla' somewarper:'hey dude don't cry it's the default one so it's ok'

- rushers who finish maps too soon, especially when it was the best map of the lot for me, but apparently not for them

- players who think spamming with smoke is smart

 

as regards trolls, in jay3 I like to argue with them until Joker !slaps me and brings me back to reason ^^

 

Anyway I like it as it is, if most players didn't like it, it wouldn't be so crowded, I think it's a matter of compromise between different tastes

I'm so glad , and I'm so happy to just be little part of this clan.

 

I did meet old friends in server also made new friends

and I take care about players/Team balance/Rules in server aka jay3

and I'm active servers/forums coz I love it and want to have some fun.

 

I found lot of fun here.

Lag - I don't really lag unless its the weekend and the server is full

Tolls - Annoying, sometimes fun to play with though

Camping - I hate campers but I love a challenge so when I find one I make it my mission to obliterate them

Self Killers - MY BIGGEST PROBLEM... nading youself because you were poisoned is just BS and recently I saw someone /kill right before they were hit with a panzer. As far as poisoned knives go. the reason why I mostly hit you once and run away is cause Ive only got 3 that i can throw and I dont want to waist all of them on just you. Reloading with knives takes too long so why go for 1 when I can 3 or more

Medics - I hate when they run away and heal themselves. NOOBISH. Thats why i play with knives!

I hate walking out of my spawn and then getting blown to pieces by a mortar

self killers - only when im shooting them the whole time and they are just strafe not hiting much then they decide oo ima piss him off and kill myself.

Random panzer shot from out of nowhere, or the type where I can see the panzer ball going towards me, but I cant move out of the way because someone behind blocked

Maybe it's OT, but I would like to answer

 

You like knives which is a questionable weapon to say the least, but you say that medics shouldn't run away if they think they are about to lose a fight?

 

It makes no sense to me... in my opinion you set the rules of the game with server settings, mod choice, rules, etc. then all the players do their best to win with that set of rules, and running away could be the best option sometimes. You are basically blaming someone for doing what is most logical to do in a situation, that makes no sense.

 

I like quoting "playing to win" ebook a lot because I love it, and as that book says, you set the rules and rules should be clear and easy to enforce, that's why rules like 'no spawnkill' are bs, because it's hard to decide when you break the rule or not. Let alone a rule like 'no backshooting'... lol...

 

Some 'rules' lead to a nice gameplay full of challenge and interesting to watch (etpro

 

that's how I see it, if someone kills me with knife I think it's a worse gameplay than having no knives so I could whine for that, but he is trying to kill me with a weapon which is made available, so I am forced to accept it

1. Post your winMTR

2. Post your lagometer with FPS enabled screenshot.

3. Post the map which you lag on.

4. Post the time/date when you experience lag.

I have voted on medics and self killers.

 

Medics for that very reason- useless to the team. I don't mind medics that are constantly healing and reviving. That's awesome. It's those guys that don't do anything that bother me the most. I get it that you want to be good- but really if you're that good, you can kick ass and get rampages as a soldier without special weapons, right? ;D

 

When... IF I ever play medic, 9/10 times I stay behind the team and heal/revive as the class was intended for.

 

 

Self killers- It's cheap and ignorant. I normally get self killers as two classes: medics (big surprise!) or engineers with the rifle. I get that you hate panzer, but I wouldn't need to use it if medics were under control. If you're going to play an op class, then take a death from an op weapon. Usually when someone self kills more than once, my enjoyment is ruined and I leave the server for another.

I got a 2 for 1 special on tissues for unskilled panzer users who aren't fast enough to kill me.
