new monitor :) broken mouse :(

Good news first.....I just bought a new led monitor the HP X2301 23 in. Using it as an external monitor for my lappy. Now i can play in 1920x1080 resolution. Any feedbacks from you guys for this product? I know it's kinda late coz i already bought it but i still wanna know your thoughts ;)

 

Now the bad news is......my g500 suddenly stops tracking on my mousepad (steelseries qck). already cleaned the sensor but no effect. i sent it to the shop for possible repacement. no play ET for the meantime but i'll be in spec.

quite pissed really. i've read a lot of review from other forums about tracking problems of logitech laser/gaming mice. has any of our logitech mouse users here experienced the same thing?

i now regret buying that mouse. i still have no news from the shop/supplier if i'll get a replacement. logitech customer support sucks coz 3 days have passed & still no reply from them. i'll buy razer next time. thanks for the infos :)

just to update this thread....i've just received a brandnew unit of G500 as a replacement :yahoo thanks logitech! i just hope this one would last longer than 3 months :mellow:

 

For some reason I have not sent in an RMA for logitech... Did they ask for a receipt? I've heard their customer service is pretty awesome.

yes i've sent the receipt together with the mouse. it took more than a week though before I got the replacement. online customer service (thru their website) sucks really....i've created my support ticket almost 2 weeks ago but til now, no one ever bothered to reply.
