well try this: autoexec.cfg

I did put value to bad looking with low light, you should use lower resolution, i set it at 1024x760 but you can try default one change value of seta r_mode "6" to "4" just to try.

I know you can use configmaker thing but I don't like to use it, so I do it all time manually

Hey dude :)

Whilst I'm waiting for my new laptop, I have to run on an old Celeron 2.8ghz with 2gb of rubbish ram, and absolutely no graphics card (just the onboard crap).

I'm constantly freezing in-game, like every 10-15 seconds - lagometer shows that my resources are starved..

I've been running on the 'fastest' (lowest) system settings from the ingame menu, with com_maxfps 48 (thats the most I get so..).. But a more knowledgable approach is needed.. I know nothing of the W:ET system cmds..

Please help me out with a super fast config! >.<

Chuck

EDIT: Sorry, form here: :)

CPU: Intel Celeron 2.8Ghz 533Mhz FSB

RAM: 2GB 533Mhz (rubbish memory though..)

Graphic Card: none

Monitor: 17inch 1024x768 60hz refresh

Internet connexion: DSL 2mbps down, about 1mb up

Game graphics: ugly! :D

What resolution you play with: Depends.. 1024 x 768

What Sensitivity: default, I will change it each time as I play differently every game :)

I dunno without real graphic card it won't be easy for you to get much stable fps, anyway try this

Here you go: autoexec.cfg

Thanks medic :) I understand it's virtually impossible to get any FPS at all without a graphics card but I can play with satisfactory graphics (I don't really care about graphics - ET is for fun!), I just need to minimise beyond my knowledge in order to stop ET jamming up :)

Thanks again :D

Hey medic :)

Sorry to waste your time with the last cfg - my laptop turned up 4 days early :D

So here's my new specs xD

CPU: Intel Core i5 460M 2.53Ghz (2 cores) (with TurboBoost up to 2.8ghz)

RAM: 3GB (2gb+1gb) 1333Mhz

Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M 1GB DDR3

Monitor: 1366px x 768px (60hz)

Internet connexion: DSL (4mb down - 300kb up)

Game graphics: Whatever you thinks best - im looking for good FPS but not expecting anything more than 150.

What resolution you play with: Usually 800x600 with r_fullscreen 0 because I use MSN at the same time =] but fullscreen would be 1366x768 - so best to set it to 1366x768 and if I want to play windowed I can change it =]

What Sensitivity: 5 - i have manual switch on my mouse =]

Cheers dude!
