well I would like the 1680x1050 to be the default resolution but sometimes if my tv is being used as a tv or I'm not at home or w.e I just use the laptop screen so I was wondering if there was a way i could have the 1280x800 resolution bound to a key or w.e so I could have the resolutions interchangeable.... if not then just the tv resolution is fine aha

OK got it now, here you go your config: i3lessed2.cfg

here how it works:

once you are ingame Click: F8 it will show you resolution and then hit F8 again it will show you next resolution, then Click F9 to set the resolution you selected

resolu.jpg

the key here can be changed by others of your choice.

also never select 1680x1050 when you are on your laptop cuz it will give an error and ET wont start

Guest R..pace!

Can I get one too? My specs are:

Intel Pentium 4 (2.80 Ghz)

EVGA 7600 GT (512 Mb)

Kingston RAM (2048 Mb DDR2)

1280x1024 Samsung LCD Monitor

Broadband (E-carrier 2, I think) Internet Connection

Windows XP

Resolution: What ever yields best results, i.e probably >1280x1024

Crosshair: Tiny, you pick the colour ;)

FOV: Normal (I don't know what the specific value is)

Thanks Medic, that was fast. I do have one question. The rate in my config is 32000, but servers limit rate to 25000. Maybe you mis-understood my net hardware download speed:

Internet Connection: Cable @ 1150 kilobits average download @ Speedtest.net

1150 is in kilobits or = 1.15 Megabits.

Thanks again, bro.

it depends where you play, i mean what mod.. so if you mean etpro then yes it's 25000 and you can modifiy that on your config but if you play on jaymod mod it have autorate cvars that will change you rate anyway. your speed will not count that much, I dunno check rate if you wanna test that by joining jaymod servers

but you can always disable that on jaymod by changing

set cg_autoRate " " //Off=0 Auto Step=1 Server Max=2 -> Automatic optimized rate adjustment

Thanks man, you're correct, as usual.

I made a bind to toggle auto-rate on or off.

(Using some of your script in my autoexec config as a guide).

Thanks again. :thanks

Since Medic is MIA for a while, he has asked me to continue with the Cfg request thread.

Here is your cfg: autoexec.cfg

Crosshair size 9 is kinda small so i left it at 32, but you can change that manually. You also didn't specify the sensitivity you wanted so i put it at 3. If you don't like it come back and ask for another one ;)
