Very nice all those cfg.

but one question; How to close a cfg?

Exit the game OR do /exec etconfig.cfg. etconfig will set everything back to default

Jeff do this:

 

Goto Wolfenstein game folder and inside ETMAIN do -> right click on your Profiles folder -> Copy

 

Past on you desktop so you can have a back up of your old cfg ...

 

now watch this video I made how to test matt cfg: CFG testing (right click and save as...)

 

just follow the same thing on the video...

 

when you inside etpro server do on console :

 

/exec autoexec.cfg

looks nice cfg antimony but is m_pitch 0.01521 allowed? thought 0.016 was min

 

I use a m_pitch of .012, so F|A's minimum is definitely not .016.. you can type /pb_cvarlist in console to see cvar restrictions. I know BBA has a minium m_pitch of .015.

 

and is this website trustable? i mean are there hacks in these cfg's?

It looks fine to me. I just downloaded meez's and maus's configs without viruses if that's what you mean.

 

You can't really put "hacks" in a config. You can put cvar values in a config which are restricted by PB, but even doing this probably won't do more than kick you for a minute or so.

Nice work Antimony. You've clearly taken a lot of ideas and made them into something personal.

 

Most clans require at least m_pitch 0.015, with a locked m_yaw of 0.022. The pitch limit on =F|A= servers is 0.011. You can also raise the yaw above 0.022. This is useful for those who understand inverse relationships.

 

I use the code below in my autoexec. It lets me sweep my aim faster side to side if I am holding down the a or d keys (i.e. if I am turning rapidly in a firefight). I use cl_mouseaccel 0.025 consistently in my config.

About my cfg, I used a m pitch selector because I sometimes play as sniper where m_pitch of 0.022 is needed.(my personal setting). I added the 0.016 as just as a test so that I could try with various pitches which gives me most headshots.

About this script, dont you face problem when shooting enemy from surface of water where you have to press jump key repeatedly? Since pressing jump key repeatedly will increase and decrease your pitch rapidly.

I see that on jaymod servers a wider range of settings is allowed. You use m_yaw to 'artificially' set a lower m_pitch than the one allowed.

 

Anyway, I lold when I read this section...

If you set the same command names more than once, then you will have only the last one you set, I don't know if that was intended, and also I don't understand the purpose of that wait command with an m_pitch change after just 1 frame.

So basically you can't move for 4 frames because wait blocks all your input, and that just to change the m_pitch?

 

Among other things that caught my eye, g_knockback is a server side cvar.
