KevinBacon Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Meh....not really complex enough for me. I wouldn't be surprised if dubstep was just a faze that will pass. From what I have seen, a good portion of it is just music sampled from other artists. Look what happened to mash-ups. However, to each their own, of course. Quote

This song is vocal and produced by its own artist. and tbh it has the best vocals in a dubstep song + original video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S35THmZD_E&feature=relmfu I think dubstep can be very original on its own, but it's just popular to remix a existing song. it's normal in all electronica music, just type in any famous hip-hop or R&B song and put "Trance" at the end of it, you will 90% get that remix but in trance, dub is no different Edited June 29, 2011 by Ryan<3 Quote
Holyy:PpP Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Dubstep and DnB is so nice! And it is also danceable, here in germany we have many parties, where they play dubstep, a friend of me is a DnB and Dubstep DJ. But i also can understand people who dont like it, it is a very special kind of music. I LOVE IT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjgFYQMWtqo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEbJ4qLiMu0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFu2DfPDGeU Quote

bell reavue Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I like dubstep...it makes me want to dance. I'll also listen to pop, rock, rap, jazz, whatever. There is no "real" music. Music is whatever it wants to be...just because you listen to classic rock'n'roll doesn't make you better than everyone else. Question about dubstep though...where is it from? Quote
Krzys Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Everybody has a different style.. You said u can't understand how can ppl listen to lady gaga. For me hip hop is boring, and rock or metal is the scariest nightmare. I like all the modern songs u can hear in radio Quote

Coldwar Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Ahhh Dubstep <3 ... Love blasting it on in my car with the windows down after a long day at work. I personally find it to be the easiest music to get "lost" in. Also if you find the right songs they can definitely also get you pumped up. I work out to it all the time (just because it doesn't make you angry and want to punch a hole in the wall doesnt mean it doesn't pump you up). I find I can catch onto the beat and do my reps in accordance, makes workouts fly by Quote
