iOS 4.3 was released to the public on March 9, 2011, 2 days before the iPad 2. In addition to earlier features, the public release of iOS 4.3 includes many new features such as a Nitro JavaScript engine in Safari, making Safari run up to twice as fast.[19] iTunes Home Sharing also received a major revision in iOS 4.3; it allows users to connect to their home Wi-Fi networks and stream content from iOS devices to speakers, TVs and other devices, or vice versa.[20] Personal Hotspot for iPhone 4 is a new feature to GSM iPhones (previously released with the Verizon iPhone) that allows the user to create a Wi-Fi network with an iPhone 4 and provide Internet access for up to five other devices on Verizon Wireless, three on AT&T[21]. This will be available for both US iPhone 4 carriers, AT&T[22] and Verizon Wireless.

Anyone here updated there iOS to 4.3? How's the experience? Good or Bad?

I didn't notice any difference except the Personal Hotspot feature which worked like a charm. I don't have any AirPlay devices so I can't test those features and I didn't notice any radical speed improvements in Safari.

No clue bro. Release notes are always good in words but practically only users can tell. Share your experience how new things are.

lots of people... people who have ipod touches and don't feel the need to pay extra for iphones. and people who have blackberries/android phones that are very comparable and sometimes better than iphones.

this is just my opinion, but if i was an iPhone user, i'd just switch to sprint, get an absolutely sick phone like the evo or epic, and stick with paying 70 dollars a month for unlimited everything instead of whatever it is for verizon/at&t. And isn't at&t's data plan not even unlimited? (correct me if im wrong) sprints is completely unlimited everything including data for 70. w/ 1500 minutes i think.

TulsaSteve bricked his while updating to 4.3 and had to drive to the Apple Store at the mall, because the ATT store couldn't help him LoL.

Same thing happened to my mom when I updated hers... I guess I'll wait until the weekend to do mine just in case.

I installed 4.3 the same day it was released. It adds a few features that I do not use to begin with, but it appears to be stable and doesn't bog down my iPhone 4. I've read a couple of blogs speculating iOS 5 will be released sometime later this year. That should be interesting.
