The "Jay2 Gathering" on Thursday 28 May, 2026 will NOT fall on the 23rd anniversary of the release of Wolfenstein Enemy Territory.  ,,,One Day later...

 

(Actually, some sources say the 29th, but that might depend on which time zone you are in, which is fitting for this truly international game.)

Wolfenstein: Enemy-Territory was originally created in a British studio (Splash Damage LTD) Which was located in London, England. 

 

It's original intention was only to be an expansion pack to RTCW but the developers could not get the singleplayer to work properly as they visioned so May 29th, 2003 it was released as a standalone multiplayer game. 

 

January 2004, the game became open-sourced and mods then started being developed that we all love to this day! 😄

i noticed ..  its ok i been pming guys. it was a blast . thanks all who showed . but no jiren this time. was hoping pewpew would stop by also. an he didnt. special thanks to shorsey great to see u on jay2. i really appreciate the support.... now if we could just get dren turned off. an  sounds like next thru we might have some diff maps to play. what are your fellas thoughts on  making it few hrs earlier. say 630 pmedt

I selfishly put 830 because I cant get on earlier with my work schedule. Happy to adjust the time and I can get on a bit later to join the fun! New post with revised details coming shortly

My work schedule flips from week to week, so next Thursday I'll be making cheese at work sadly but the one after you can bet ill be there.(and that cycle will continue)
