It's impossible to play with that hat, deer antlers, snow grenades, etc... Why don't they just leave all that stuff for one single map so the rest can be played without all that nonsense? Anyway, I hope things are back to normal by February. Until then

That isn’t how that works pal. 
 

the custom pk3 for skins and things like you mention are implemented via server, not by map. I do like this suggestion though. Would be neat to see an array of normal maps with festive maps and only the festive ones containing the festive skin packs.

+ you can turn off the download pk3 thing, delete the xmas pk3 and play normally

so, ppl said that if the pk3 file is delete , will be reinstall each time when the game is loading with the chiristmas deco
