Basically, I'm on ETLegacy 2.81.1 (because n!tmod client doesn't work on 2.6b) and I wanted to make a listen n!tmod server with automatically added omnibots, without execing manually a script by console or key binding (yeah, my time is important), but it's just a struggle ! even to find how to do it ! Yes, I want to run the server from my own PC to play alone (don't judge me !) or in my private network. To do so, I've installed the n!tmod server utilies at F|A downloads section. Then I've unzipped all, created a new folder named "nitmod" in the ETL basepath (C:/PF(x86)/ETLegacy/), and copied all the content into the new folder. I start the server from the game menu. Just curious Anyway, another approach to host a local server is running etlded separately and connecting to it. In your basepath, you'll find etlded.exe. Make a shortcut of it. Now you can start the server with some startup parameters / set cvars that can only be set from the command line. Right click on the shortcut > Properties > Target > based on the path you provided it should look like "C:/PF(x86)/ETLegacy/etlded.exe". Now after the closing quotation mark, you can set some cvars or exec a cfg for example. Assuming there's OmniBots already in the correct path (you said it works when enabled manually?), you just gotta add `+set omnibot_enable 1`. Then you have to exec cfg / start some map etc. Finally, it will look like this: "C:/PF(x86)/ETLegacy/etlded.exe" +set omnibot_enable 1 +exec etl_server.cfg +map oasis (adjust to suit your needs) Run the server by launching the shortcut. If you set maxbots to 10, then they will join automatically. If you set it to -1 then you will need to add them with addbot like it is in your config.
