I'd love to see Battery on the list of maps to be played,

Baserace map needs to be at least 30 mins and not 15 mins.

 

1) it's too fast & we barely get to secure no more than 3 to 4 obj before time runs out.

2) it should also be listed amongst the other frequently played maps.

 

3) if anyone reading this supports my suggestion plz hit like reaction so we know how many would like to make this happen.

Okay, changes were done on ETL:US.

 

Maps out:

- Bremen,

- Fuel Dump,

- Rail Gun,

 

Maps in:
- FA Bremen,

- Seawall Battery,

- Goldrush Gals.

 

Now Goldrush SW will be possible to vote from the beginning up to 16 players and if we have more than 16 players Goldrush Gals will kick in. Same change was done for Purefrag and Baserace, when 16 players or more Purefrag is gone and Baserace is kicking in.

We had it like that and because legacy gameplay is slow paced on such maps after 15-20 minutes it became server killer since people get bored. That's why I also removed Fuel Dump and Rail Gun now, even if I love these maps. We don't have stable playerbase yet who would whine but stay and play, so for now it will stay the way it is. But I made a change and now less players are needed to be possible to vote.

 

Thanks for sugestions and keep them coming, next review of rotation I plan around beginning of April!

FA Bremen - axis bawts are hanging around first truck barrier after it's blown and make no effort to go to second barrier. Not sure if ive seen that issue before with this map

the allied bawts crushed it as escorting the truck and hanging around the 2nd barrier. It was the axis bawts who were failing. Myself and two other real players were defending the 2nd barrier and trying our best... the 3 axis bawts were holding up near CP/1st barrier -- seems like goals were not specified/broken after the 1st barrier was blown. 

 

Happy to look into it myself but will have to be later this week at the earliest

Updated etl_supply to version 13. Mapscript changes by @TomekKromek include open bunkers (in the front of first Allies spawn) and additional room in first tunnel.

While we wait for @daredevil to enable the mapscript change (see Discord), version 14 of etl_supply was released and uploaded to FA ETL US.
