ExCaL Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 With the high amount of bots on beg2 landmines /tripmines are almost useless,because the your teambots will walk over/through it right away and ignite it. Panzerdamage is high enough if you ask me. But what about that flamer damage? High damage but no SELFdamage at all,only if you point it straight towards the ground. The difference between experienced players and the real beginning players is already big,but when theres adren involved it gets even bigger.A skilled player on adren slaughters all the beginning players(even if they found out how it works) .I think thats something that "scares:" the real starters away. Removing adren isnt popular among everybody offcourse,but a lot of maps are also completed because of adrenusers ,because of the high speed jumping/double jumping/running through a mine field without dying,running through a line of fire etc....In those situations i think adren has to much influence on the gameplay aswell. Riflenade power a little higher maybe,but not as high as on nq1 plz because youll get get a flamer and riflenade party also. Airstrikes limited,i dont know how it goes at other servers but beg2 seems like an overkill with airstrikes and arty. 1 Quote

If rnader sees you in Jay1 or NQ1 you will be dead 90% of the time. Even if you try to jump away quickly, the splashdamage will still kill you. Nades just do more damage in those servers. 1 1 Quote

I'm not a fan of big changes, especially if something is working good so all I would do is small increase nade dmg. Would be good to use rifle again but now it's too weak for me. 2 1 Quote

Arty is one of things beginners can use to kill skilled players, who came there to slaughter the noobs. Restricting means to kill someone you can't stand a chance in gun-fight can make things worse vide: 'I came here and they are killing me everytime, it's not fun, I quit.' 3 Quote

I was wondering about the outcome of this discussion - have there been any buffs to nade/rnades? To be honest, I enjoy most of the server settings and can even agree with most things on explosives - Arty/Airtsrikes are weak but frequent - Panzer is weak, but with proper aim always a direct kill But grenades / rnades? A direct hit doesn't kill. Cooking and timing grenades will get you killed, instead of kills. This really creates a huge disbalance - it contributes to making medics with 155 hp, proper aim and proper movement even more powerful. Skill cannons like Drempa, Jakey or Razjee are SO hard to kill, a little more explosive damage could create a bit of balance, so the average & beginner players have a bit more chance to win a fight in an easy way 🙂. Expand i agree with the 2 points, arty is spammed too much thus this drains player's FPS :') and about panzer it doesnt matter how much dmg it does i will still killself when u shoot me xD 1 Quote
