Is that tank pressurized or just a water tank for some crazy electrified coffee process?! that's the boiler from my bezzera magica S MN PID. the anti vacuum valve from it was leaking steam into the machine, which dripped off the boilers corpse. you can see it on the brown stripes there. I honestly don't know what bezzera was thinking, when designing that valve. alot of other models have a tube on it, so the steam goes back into the tank, but not this one ... anyhow, I exchanged that Italian piece of Italian engineering with some of the German counterparts from ECM. their valves have a tube-connector, so you can recirculate the boilers steam, back to the tank. here you can see the new high temperature food safe silicone tube: 1 Quote
mraw435 Posted December 8 Author Posted December 8 @Vice86 good on you for taking the machine apart and finding a solution! I would have complained for months before considering such a project xD ...hopefully you had a solid backup machine during the repairs! I am going to Paris in February, I am excited to test their coffee/espresso scene! 2 Quote
