ET Friendly fire?

The ET Hardcore server used to be pretty active, but it seems to be have died out about a year ago, and everybody moved over to Silent. I really miss having friendly fire on, as I think it forces heavy weapons and artillery to be a little more responsible.

Looks like the Legacy server has FF on, too.

 

Is it just me, or do other people miss it, too? Any interest in trying to get a critical mass of people back on HC, or on ETL?

 

There were spontaneously some nice HC matches the other day when Silent was down. Maybe if we planned a time it would work?

In regard to our ETL Sever i can say @yaku has some ideas for it in the near future and we will try to get it as active as in its beginning again. Shortly after its offical release we had some really nice objective focused 3vs3/5vs5/6vs6 matches there with some regulars. But as you said, finding a fixed time is key to get people back into it.

Well, don't want to sound like a broken record but it's true and in near future I will send all my plan to @daredevil. I actually have it almost ready, so from now on no more talking about it but just doing it. Expect FA Legacy server return really soon.

What do we need to change? I am open for changes but without dedication ETL server is going no where.

I feel ETL would be more active if it was on a US Based server.

I agree that explosives are irritating, if someone just throws them around 😛 Or when I get blinded by my teammates flamethrower, while Im shooting at an enemy

I dont play on S1 or HC1 regularly, but I can feel what you mean

Ok i will try to fix the stats for HC. @Scarface I will need your expertise since i am going to upgrade php to 8.0 on server.. so stats code will need update.

Had a few nice matches on HC just now. For a while I was checking it before hitting Silent, but I gave up since nobody was ever there. I'll keep checking it and maybe idle there a bit to see if we can get some interest!
