As of right now, the unanimous top 3 teams with the highest odds of winning are Brazil, France, and England (in random order, as per different sources & opinions). I'm surprised to see that, albeit top 5, Argentina is not in the top 3. They are also currently undefeated. Perhaps this was due to their narrow victory over Brazil last year, I'm not sure; but I'd thought the various sources would give them a higher chance. Nonetheless, they are still a strong contender. Who do you have winning & why?

Argentina and England rarely deliver in world cups, so i dont think either one of them will win it. It is either gonna be France or probably Spain (even tho they are building a new, younger team. Still so much quality). I would love to say that The Netherlands will finally win but then again we never will. Besides that its a joke its being hold in Qatar. Outsider: Portugal for me.

Nice points. I've always wanted The Netherlands to win it too (they were robbed in the 2010 final). Nonetheless; my pick is Brazil, as stated earlier.

As the reigning football predictor champion my picks will be given to @Dest!Ny in a sealed envelope to be revealed once the tournament has started.

Germany has good chances this time. The quality of the squad might not be as good as ten years ago but it is still up there with the best teams in the world - and good enough to win. Hansi Flick's aggressive, pressing intensive power football suits tournament football very well (as he has shown with Bayern in the Champion's League tournament 2020). If the key players are healthy at the end of the year, I think Germany can beat anyone in a tournament with their hyena style pressing and quick counter-attacks after turnovers.

Yeah, I was rooting for Germany in the 2018 World Cup. Albeit an early exit, they definitely turned things around for 2022. Who knows...it could be a Germany vs Brazil final....now THAT would be awesome.

Hard to call really, there isn't one team that shines brighter compared to the rest. Of course I'd like England to do well and considering the position we came in the last World Cup, getting to the semi finals or the finals is a must if we want to improve. It'll be hard because you'll have harder teams. I am looking forward to see how Ronaldo and Messi perform in their last World Cups, and how far the representing countries go.

France will always be in with a shout because of the super star squad, but as we seen with the Euros, it failed. Spain and Germany rebuilding could be a mixed outcome. But will be an interesting World Cup.

1.Not Poland

2.Not Poland

3.Not Poland

seriously, for me the best is the representation of france and brazil, but this is a tournament so it can be different in one match and you are out  but of course I will be cheered for Poland

I don't think Brazil will do well, it's not the nation it used to be in the World Cup. Neymar is good but not good enough to carry Brazil to glory.

I think that the dominant South American countries will do well this year. They have performed phenomenally during the qualifiers & it would be very unlikely to see them exit early.

South Americans always do well, it's the style of football. Will be an interesting tournament for sure.

I agree. As for who wins, truth be told; I don't think anyone truly knows. Football is completely unpredictable.
