They also like light airy soil, with good drainage, they don´t like standing water. If you have them in Buckets, i reccomend to drill holes into the bucket ground and make a layer of stones in it, then put some fabrics on the stones as separation layer, and then fill the rest of it with soil, so you achieve the best drainage in a bucket. the excessive water will always flow out, and you ´ll have always the right amount of water in the soil for every plant, no matter how often you pour it.
