Vice86 Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 (edited) 10 minutes ago, captnconcrete said: anytips for peppers i got few one already died ... other two look sickly .. my tomatoes doing really good . maybe ill have to take a photo.lol i might a got some grass fert and weed killer in my pepper buckets. pics? if weedkiller is in it, and the plant isnt geneticly modified for it, it might just die like anything else in there. usually it stops the plant from taking nitrogen from the ground wich it needs to grow. you can try to exchange the soil very carefully without damageing the roots. i did this to my two blackberries, i digged them out and flushed the rest of the soil carefully of with a hose and set them into brand new planting-soil from my gardencenter of trust. it took them a while, but they are healthy again. They also like light airy soil, with good drainage, they don´t like standing water. If you have them in Buckets, i reccomend to drill holes into the bucket ground and make a layer of stones in it, then put some fabrics on the stones as separation layer, and then fill the rest of it with soil, so you achieve the best drainage in a bucket. the excessive water will always flow out, and you ´ll have always the right amount of water in the soil for every plant, no matter how often you pour it.
