2 questions

1. I have ET stretched out to fit my screen, but as you can guess, it looks stretchy lol.. Is there anyway to fix it without it looking all wonky?

2. After all these years I figured there would be some sort of graphical update of some sort for ET considering how long it has been out, is 

there anything new as far as updates and so on that can be used? Like being able to run at higher resolution? Funny, I remember when it first

came out, I was amazed at how nice it looked and that they gave it away..  Anyway, any help would be much appreciated. 

 

 

PS: This image I attached was the inspiration for Siwa Oasis.. I had been playing this game since the beginning and had no Idea the place kind of actually existed haha

Change the latter 3 to fit your monitor, although I wouldnt recommend a higher resolution. 

 

As for the graphical stuff. You could have a look at ET Legacy!

I was recently looking at legacy, will it work if I am on a regular server?  Like if I installed it, could I still use it on FA servers?  Also, Thanks a ton for the info, I will give it a shot

Wait for legacy new version. It's going to be much better.

Also, I was going to give it a shot just to see what it was but when I went to the server list, Silent wasn't even there haha.. Oh well

Somebody once posted a picture from Venice that was the RL inspiration for that ET Map.

Here is what I found. Not very good quality, but you can see the inspiration.

 

Here is a shot of the little bridge and the big cathedral type building IRL.

And here it is in game.

And here is a shot just by the other little bridge, you can see the little ledge where you plant the dynamite

Oh, Dear.  I just did a search for "Venice" and got 980 results.    

 

Have to narrow the search parameters!

Hahaha, I feel ya! Those I just posted were the best I could find in a quick search, but it's easy to see the inspiration..

Ooh, Ooh!  I searched for "Venice map" and only got 46 results.

 

It can be found in this list, Chameleon! :D
