Sounds stupid but make sure the time and date on your pc is set correctly

Ok your time setting is fine.. other than that I only know of two things.

1) your security software is scanning SSL connections - try disabling your security software temporarily to see if it stops the problem - if it does, go into your security softwares settings and look for that SSL scanning option and disable it.

2) Parental controls - some softwares or routers with parental controls will try displaying a 'blocked' page when certain pages get blocked.  This hidden redirect from an SSL connection will flag a security error in Chrome - in this case the only option is to disable parental controls, or simply don't visit those sites.

I did a Google search for [ chrome notice "your connection is not private" ]

The first site I read : http://www.tomsguide.com/answers/id-2509114/chrome-connection-private.html had a number of proposed "fixes" :D  The most interesting one was the responder who said his problem was caused by going over his ISP's traffic-limits!  :o

You would be better off listening to Chuckun's guidance, rather than "try, try, try" all the suggestions. :)

BTW, I often use Opera's VPN/Proxy service when checking some links to unknown 'things'.  The problem with that is that Google can get GOD-DAMNED PICKY when searching!  It wanted me to do its pic-captcha thing when I entered "http://prntscr.com/l09ayi" into the address bar!!!!  :mad I then use Bing to do searches or link-entering.
