50 second intermission

 

The amount of arty; Not necesarily the amount of spawns, but the rate at which it falls. Standard has a good 5-6 seconds between explosions, but this is constant and impossible to get through.

 

The amount of time needed for a /kill to result in scared to death. It's very long, as I /kill a good 5-6 seconds after killng somebody, and get scared to death by them.

I agree... I think 15 seconds is more than enough! :hmm

Well, yeah 50 seconds is a long time, but there is a couple benefits from it. Connecting players have a larger window of connectivity if they connect during intermission instead of getting an error message as the server changes maps, and well, if you like to see the acc and frags of other players, it gives decent timing. Ah we'll see.

scared to death ? if you do that then you should be ashamed of yourself. if you dont then you dont care about it anyways.

 

Artillary - it requires skills to escape from artillary.

30 seconds on ETPUB and 50 on Jaymod. I will see if i can fix Jaymod one.

 

For arty I would like to do it if you can tell me exact cvar since I am not able to find exact cvar for it. Or anyone who knows can post it.

 

For /kill we are thinking to put 1-2 sec for etpub and 5 for jaymod since etpub has scrim maps and jaymod has fun + scrim maps.

We would like to know other players opinions also.

5 is way too long. Think about it. Get hit, kill him, /kill to spawn if the timer is really close to your spawning time, and getting it counted as a kill towards the other person? I think it should be 2 on both.

team_maxArtillery [num]

 

team_maxArtillery sets the maximum number of artillery or airstrikes each team can have per minute. Setting num to 0 disables artillery and airstrikes altogether, and 1 through to 6 specifies the maximum number of concurrent airstrikes per minute allowed. Anything above 6 will have no effect.

He is not talking for that. He is talking about the delay between the same artillery. The one which you are saying limits the artillery per minute he is mostly asking for the delay in the bombs that are dropped in 1 artillery if I am not wrong.

+1 vote for long intermissions. i like to have enough time to check out other players stats, my own stats, etc. besides, games can be pretty frantic sometimes and it is good to have a small break. can you really not wait 1 whole minute???
