Dream Theater

Hi!

So today I found this documentary from youtube regarding Dream Theater and their new drummer, since Mike Portnoy (godlike) left. They chose 7 candidates whcih in their opinion would suit the band most comfortably musicwise!

It's a very interesting documentary in my opinion, and I really concentrated on watching it. Dream Theater is one of my favorite bands and Mike Portnoy is one of my biggest idols along with The Rev ofcourse.

NHL

I noticed there's a topic regarding NBA playoffs, and I myself ain't much of a basketball fan, but how about the NHL playoffs? I love hockey, and I try to stick with what happens in NHL as much as I can.


Now to the point itself: playoffs start on Wednesday. Which 2 teams do you think will reach the finals and which one of them will win?


Conference Quarterfinals goes like this:

Vancouver Canucks VS. Chicago Blackhawks

Los Angeles Kings VS. San Jose Sharks

New York Rangers VS. Washington Capitals

Buffalo Sabres VS. Philadelphia Flyers

Phoenix Coyotes VS. Detroit Red Wings

Nashville Predators VS. Anaheim Ducks

Montreal Canadiens VS. Boston Bruins

Tampa Bay Lightning VS. Pittsburgh Penguins


RED = Eastern Conference

BLUE = Western Conference


I would prefer Red Wings - Capitals as the final and Detroit would win :)

Floorball world champions 2010!

I guess not many people are interested in floorball, but still I have to say it!


To those of you, who are interested in floorball, you may know that the 2010 world championships were held in Finland, yes, FINLAND :)

After winning the last time, which was 2008, we raised the bar and the hopes for 2010 in Finland. As you know there's always this fear of Sweden running us down, but no! The little country with a mothafckng big heart ran them over this time! And oh how good did it feel after watching the scoreboard showing 6-2 after the 3rd period.

The noise that the full Hartwall arena (13400 people) created was AMAZING!! Lots of beer and booze was drank that night! Now we can really stand proud and say: "We owned them".


DAMN this feels good :) Proud to be a Finn!
