Etkey is a file in etmain folder, to back it up just copy it somewhere safe like any regular file. It's generated when you first connect to any server with new installation. The point is if you ever reinstall ET or play on another computer just paste it in etmain folder and you'll have your admin and XP back.

Saving it in your email is a good idea. I cant remember how many times Ive used mine when playing from another computer (work, school, gf's moms house).

lol, just go to your etmain folder and copy it to some folder on your disc, you can also send it to yourself on email.

There is 2 place where to find etkey, most of time it's in etmain, but sometimes happen that punkbuster create hidden etmain
Normal way to find it is:
windows 32bits:
C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\etkey
windows 64bits:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\etkey
If it happen and you didn't find etkey in the game folder then you can look inside the hidden etmain
windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your-NAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\PunkBuster\ET\etmain\etkey
vista & windows7:
C:\Users\<Your-NAME>\AppData\Local\PunkBuster\ET\etmain\etkey
to see hidden folder, you need to enable them
