I have a one-month old iPhone and I haven't really found a whole bunch of apps for it, except Words with Friends and Temple Run. Does anyone know of any good apps? They don't have to be games, just anything useful or entertaining. And the price doesn't really matter as long as it's worth the couple bucks, though I would be more inclined to the free apps. Thanks :)

Here are a few I've found so far I'd recommend.

Games: (all free)
Jump Out
Monster
Jet Worm
Magic Guitar
Mouth Off (not really a game, but pretty good for a few laughs and it's free)

Photo & Video:
PhotoSynth (pretty sweet panoramic photo program) Free
Action Movie (put movie effects into a video clip) Free for the first few effects
Luminance (add effects to your photos) Free
Flixlab (Simple movie editor & share movies) Free

Education
Planets (pretty cool, and free) Free
Star Walk (Very cool, a couple of bucks) 2.99
Earth Now (made by JPL, lots of nerdy info on the earth) Free

Fitness
MyfitnessPal (better than a few paid apps I've seen) Free
RunKeeper (if your into running, it's handy) Free

Utilities
iHandy Level (turns your phone into a level, handy if your faded and want to see if your walking straight) free
Light (app that allows you to turn your LED on and off..or activate a strobe, signal SOS etc) free
GPS (cheap GPS, if you want voice nav it costs $30/year) free

Voice
Google voice (for obvious reasons)
Skype
Find iphone (track yo shiz down)
Find Friends (if you want ppl to know exactly where you are)

I'm sure there a tons of others, these are the ones I've tried and liked so far.

Of the above I use Star Walk, Google Voice, Skype, Shazam (find new music) and Words With Friends.
I also use Reuters News Pro, Shredder Chess, Cleartune (guitar/piano tuner), dropbox, Hipstamatic (retro photos but kind of getting played out now), Kindle, Epi (if I need a recipe fast) and Yahoo!Messenger.
Good luck, I find I use a fraction of the apps I have which is like most people I believe.

facebook messenger
whatsapp or textplus (free sms)
foursquare: check into places and track your friends
Games: Infinity blade, flight control, tap tap revolution
also appshopper
SmartSync: sync facebook friends with your contacts
startracker: point your iphone in any direction and see the stars, moons, planets and their names. plus constellations
ifmylife: hilarious (f*** my life or FMLs)
PFAR Free: point your iphone at a plane and see what it is, where it is going, etc.
TiKL: turn your iphone into a walkietalkie with your other iphone buddies
Camera+: its a better/faster camera compared to the standard one
dropbox/evernote

EVI just came out, it is very similar to Siri (0.79 euros I think). They had a huge amount of traffic so their servers went down, but they are upgrading. So it should be up and running well.

Whats also fun to do with an iphone is to jailbreak it. That will open a lot of other options that you wouldn't have before. Also you can get apps that aren't on the app store.
