Sapkowski - great books, fantasty colorfull as Tolkien, but with huge spoon of reallity - i mean hypocrites, dishonest people, etc, it is not filled with tones of sugar like LotR. Also, just idea of the caste of Witchers, a mutated by magic/poisonous mixture and hard-hallicunogens, mastered at swordmanship, soft-magic using paid-killers of unnatural-spawned monsters is just incredible. Unfortunatley, i'm afraid that english/your language translation will not be that awesome like in polish. you know, the diffrences beetwen languages can destroy something. there is also game The Witcher, pretty cool, maybe it influence you to read this books. here you have intro of this game, but remember - u will understand this video completly, when you read first book, The Last Wish (chapter one) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
