Yes just put more maps into rotation and fix the player limits, and why is there some maps on every one of those rotations, like goldrush is always there?? Its always 30min map and pure spam from start to finish 😄 -

Current rotation on jay#1 is horrible.. Goldrush should be max 40 etdo1 should be max 40-50 oasis should be max 40 Also the rotation is very very boring when max players, pls add more large maps on the active rotation, in my opinion jay#1 could have some basic large maps always in rotation, helmsdeep, minastirith, daybreak, temple, river port, capuzzo for example. There are more than 800 maps for ET, maybe add more maps to the rotation at once. Jay#1 is one of the few servers that are still active in ET and it makes me sad seeing same few maps over and over again that are not even meant for so many players.. -
Even if you have balance option from omni-bot enabled, when you have 8v8 teams and player joins axis, one bot from axis will leave. So new player can join axis aswell. There is no way in omni-bot itself to make it so it counts the actual players and makes it that way real players dont stack up on one team. Only way that I'm aware of is with a lua script and jaymod itself doesnt support lua scripts. Tomorrow I will test and add headquarters mod since that adds the support for lua scripts.

Hey, I'm looking for advice. How do you make the bots balance properly on jaymod servers? As far as I know lua scripts arent supported by jaymod unless you use some sort of integration. How did you solve this on your servers? Any tips on how to do it will be appreciated! Cheers Adeby

What about increasing player limit on Baserace and maybe MLB Temple? Also I think Pirates could be limited to less players since its pretty chaotic with those narrow alleys. Dunno whats the correct limit on Frostbite but it seems to appear with way too many players. If not planning to erase Grave Robbery from the mappool, maybe leave it out from the next rotation. I think few months of it is enough. -

Thats what everyone did, suggested which maps to be removed and which ones to be added. Like I said previously, keep the good and liked maps from previous rotations and add new maps on top of that instead of removing all the good maps. If the plan is to keep playerlimit at 50, honestly there are not many maps that plays well with that amount of players. Thats why I think it would be better to keep those maps that work and people like and if there are new ones to be added, add them on top of those old maps. Mappool with 40 maps including all good old maps is better than mappool with 30 maps including maybe 5 playable maps. Last time I played actively was around 2012-2013 so I don't know what maps have been there in the last years but something needs to be done with the mappool. Just my 2 cents -

I have been inactive for last 2 years or something, but I know most of these maps have been on the server and thats why I suggested them. These maps works very well on the server. I don't see why these maps have been taken out instead of adding new maps. I understand if daybreak been taken off if it got lots of complaints. Current rotation is just blahh. I hear others complaining about the rotation aswell. In my opinion, just add the maps that have been proven good on the server and then add new maps on top of that instead of taking all the good maps out and adding maps like grave robbery -

o yea seems to have about 20 players atm too dunno what have i looked at Anyways is it because you want players on jay1 and jay2 that there is no regular EU server? I use this to bump subjects mentioned on other threads already. Reducing bots jay1 and 2 and add minas permanently on mappool would be nice.

Better if its not in the rotation at all. Goldrush is really bad for more than 20 players anyways.

I'm suggesting since the playercount on ET has been going downhill for years now that you could lower the amount of bots on servers. On jay1 there are bots until there are 25 players and i think thats bit unnecessary. 8v8 or 10v10 without bots shouldnt be a problem, i think its just better if after 16 players there are no bots. About EU servers: I was wondering if it could be possible to have one EU server with regular jaymod settings. I mean EU server with jaymod and no fast shoot is something that i personally have been missing from FA. I noticed that beginners #2 is not very active and maybe you could transfrom that into a server suggested above. Cheers

If decreasing player limit on Jay1 is out of the question, maybe add maps that are playable with 50 players. I think minastirith should be always on the rotation since its really good map for large amount of players. I think lowering the amount of bots on jay2 would help. If there are 16+ players i don't see reason to have bots in there. Same goes for jay1. I'd rather play with 15 actual players than with 15 players and 10 bots (thats how it is on jay1 atleast). Lets say when there are 10+ players and after that if there are bots on the server it just makes people want to leave.
