Problems with et

Question

Hoping someone can help i have really bad lag when i play et i havent changed anything i have unistalled it and reinstalled it and nothing changed please help as its unplayable :(#

Need more details about your prob to help you:

 

-server where this happens\if only on one server

-winmtr stats

-screenshot(s) or demo(s) with lagometer and drawfps turned on

-your cfg

-specs of your pc

-a detailed description of the context\environment

 

so on for example..

PC Specs - AMD Phenom 8550 Triple Core Processor 2.20GHz

4.00gb Ram

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

graphics card GeForce 9200

 

Winmtr didnt work

Did You install latest video driver or did You buy lappy with Win7 x64 already installed?

I always have to install video driver or ET lags.

Here is latest video driver for card:

http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/77224

Download, Install and restart computer.

You still need provid WinMTR report or members cant know how to help you.

 

How to use winMTR, first open that, type server ip what cause you laggs in host line. Then use start button, See first pic (i used ip of Jay1)

 

Then keep that running that you get atleast 100 in Sent and Recv line (in my pic i have only 4 and thats not enough, its must be atleast 100) you can see in second pic that correct line is inside the red circle.

 

 

So use server ip when use WinMTR in Host line

If version WinMTR 64 bit not working then use 32 version

Server doesn't lag you, from the MTR it clearly shows that from server you have 0 % of loss. You should call you internet provider in order to check the connection ( if there are not any problems from their side).

Reboot your router, and post new results please. Looks like you need to call your ISP to me.
