Lag free/help cfg

In need of a good cfg that will help with my lag, I really dont care how bad the graphics are, just anything to make my gameplay somewhat faster...

 

Need

seta pb_sleep 500

seta cl_timenudge -50

seta rate 45000

pb enabled

 

Crosshair- cross

color complete cyan

crosshair size small

no muzzleflash/blood draw/ejecting brass, or anything like that, all disabled.

any other scripts that may help, thanks!

i was going to create a topic about this, but since you anticipated ;)

 

I think we cant call my problem lag, i have 140-150 ping but thats normal, since i live in Portugal and the server is in America, but i think that my ET is not registering very well, i just aim and most of the times i cant hit (no, im not missing my targets), unless the enemy is right next to me, its getting a bit frustrating, and the other player eventualy kills me. I will try this huge config that Quovadis sended, but one question, how do i execute it?

If your ping is steady then it's not a problem for hitting, and remember that in ET bullets are a bit random, and when people hit you they can give you errors in your bullets, so hit first and control random spread with crouch in long range.

 

But your mtr log says your ping is not steady (by the way, run it for a bit longer, and make sure you aren't downloading/uploafing anything while you test)

 

probably you shjould create a new thread because your lag is internet lag (you use wireless?), it can't be fixed with a cfg

Also try using cl_packetdup 0 since the only thing it dors is delay your packets ( why would it be better to have delayed packets than losing packets in a shooter that every 0.1 seconds counts)

I will try it later, and i wasnt dl/uping anything. I use cable.

 

I ask this because in CS 1.6 i always had a .cfg that made my game run smoother.

Then in any ET mod (jaymod,silent) do /exec name.cfg in console.

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 are private ips, right?

Is that 10.38.191.254 your isp?

 

Aside from the packet loss, it's really unstable, look at the difference between the average and max/min values.

Well i tried, but its still the same...

 

btw, when i type cl_packetup 0 its says "unknow command"...
