sincity Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Anyone who's ever had their website hacked and defaced by hacker collective Anonymous can have a good laugh at their expense, because it looks as though they aren't immune to security breaches either. BBC News reports that Anonymous this week "has suffered an embarrassing breach, as one of its popular Twitter feeds is taken over by rival hacktivists." The Anonymous Twitter hack follows other high-profile Twitter hacks that have occurred over the past few days, including the Twitter accounts for both Burger King and Jeep. 1337 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 so an elite hacktivist conglomerate gets hacked by another group of hacktivists. not surprisingly. Quote
Shinobi Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 It about time they themselves got a taste of their own medicine.... SO IRONIC Quote
Jefke Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) Meh, would be funny if Anonymous hacked Anonymous (which is perfectly possible, because Anonymous is a brand/label/mask not a group) Edited February 22, 2013 by DrJoske Quote
Chameleon Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Well I for one think that is pretty freakin hilarious lol Quote
1337 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Meh, would be funny if Anonymous hacked Anonymous (which is perfectly possible, because Anonymous is a brand/label/mask not a group) It kinda is an anarchist group of hacktivists, no hierarchy, made up of "groups" of hactivists that mostly work together within Anonymous. But youre right, it would be perfectly possible. Quote
