Anyone can make a request not only clan member, so don't be shy and ask.

 

To create an autoexec.cfg* we can help you, but to create one we need to know some details about your hardware, Internet connection and how you wanna play the game (graphics)

Autoexec.cfg is a small file that is placed in ETMAIN folder to load automatically preferences (binds, voice-chat, various configuration settings)

 

Fill this form: (*) --> must be filled

1. 
    
   
2. CPU: Model + speed of the cpu --> (*)
   
3. RAM: How much memory on your PC or Laptop --> (*)
   
4. Graphic Card: Model --> (*)
   
5. Monitor: Size of your screen + Resolution + Refresh Rate
   
6. Internet connexion and speed: xdsl or cable or modem --> (*)
   
7. Game graphics: High or ugly (you want to see all graphic details in the game Or you don't care cos you looking only for better performance.)
   
8. What resolution you play with: Not your Monitor resolution but game resolution) --> (*)
   
9. What Sensitivity: you want for your mouse between 0.1 to 30 (default is 5) --> (*)
   
10. What Crosshair: see the picture below --> (*)
    
11. What FOV you want: see the picture below --> (*)
    
12. and if you want some specific binds please tell us what and with what key you want?
    

 

 

 

 

For Crosshair you may choose which one you want:

 

 

For cg_fov you can select between 90 or up to 120 allowed by PunkBuster:

I know you told me once that you wanna keep resolution 800x600 ingame so i didn't change anything about that but you can change that and try changing value under // [r_settings]

 

from :

seta r_mode "4"

seta r_customwidth "800"

seta r_customheight "600"

 

to current screen resolution:

seta r_mode "-1"

seta r_customwidth "1680"

seta r_customheight "1050"

CPU : Windows Vista Home Premium: Service Pack 1 - Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16GHz 2.17 GHz - 32-bit Operating System

RAM how much memory your pc get (very important): 3.00 GB

Graphic Card (very important) (I think this is what you're looking for:) Intel GMA 4500MHD Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0

Monitor + Resolution + Refresh Rate (very important): 15.4" Resolution: 1200x800 - Refresh Rate: 60 Hz

Internet connexion = xdsl or cable or modem (very important) - currently satellite, but will soon be cable. (Yay for cat-5s) So, set up for that. (Basically, whatever large colleges use. I apologize, I'm not 100% sure if this is the right answer here. Really unknowledgeable on this particular subject.)

 

 

Go ahead and make game graphics high. (With 3 gigs ram, it shouldn't be a problem.)

What resolution you play with (Not your screen resolution but your game resolution) : 1024x768.

 

Set cg_fov to 100

 

Crosshair: 6, red in there somewhere if u can. (the outside part)

 

If anything else needed, here it is. I keep everythings stock. or just ask.

I strongly suggest 100 max packets is not all possible for his old PC and slow internet. I have seen him playing. I suggest you change your attachment and change his max packets to 38 and put his max fps on 76.

 

@spiffy. He is on graphics accelerator card. His laptop can't handle high graphics config and he needs to stop downloading porn while playing ET since his ping goes from 100 to 400 LOL

k. thanks Dare... and LOL YOU CAKE!!! Ping problems should be over in about 2 weeks. (After I finish downloading my 4 terabytes of porn. lololol) Nahh, then, I'll be on a more reliable connection. Ping problems like I have now on the Jaymods should be gone.
