pb is being a pain

last 2 days, keep getting kicked, sometimes it kicks 2 or more people at same time

 

 

manually updated pb, ran pb services, kicked my pc( toe hurts ), going to try reinstalling ET, btw, got windows XP and ET 2.6b

This was also happening on hardcore and etpub as well last nite. Multiple people would get kicked at once. Shitty part was we have to reboot ET to play again. If not, then a person would get the pk3 error.

Yea PB was updated on Friday as a maintenance release.

People on crossfire are saying it was so that the comp scene would stop using SLAC and start using PB again They also said their is less lag from PB after this update.

 

EDIT: Ah, just looked at Dares link and saw it was updated again yesterday.

how do I uninstall the update, and turn off autoupdate so my game don't update itself?

Tell them what software are ON when you are gaming and what firewall, antivirus and such.

 

If they get common error issues they can fix it.

ok, but I have no antivirus, only windows firewall, no programs/processes running, I shut down all processes it will allow me in taskmanager, windows XP

Then u need to whine on them that there new scans and changes suck

 

For the time being I can disable PB and other then that I can't do much!

I would say whine in ticket.. so they know they have released buggy version and they will release fixes.

 

I do whine as a server admin in ticket. They haven't fixed bug which i reported in 2009..
