  1. I really loose it when i hear and see everyone talking about CS Go and battlefield as being the ultimate hardest first person shooter titles, CS Go is really slow compared to ET, same goes for battlefield, i find them really slow when i just close ET and login to battlefield or CS. If only people can see how fast you have to be on ET.

  5. hey, I was thinking about it earlier, and I was thinking about =F|A= having a mini esport csgo team. I think it would be fun for us all to play on a team competitively together. I am pretty sure there are competitive websites to set up teams where we could all be on a team and go against other teams. I think this would be a very fun thing to do. even tho I am a silver one at the moment (Got deranked a ton from bans) I will probably be ranked out of silver in a bit. I am very good at one taps with mostly any weapon, and If you need a awper, leave it to me (I am a mini Kenny s) I hope this can happen!! -sonofdoc
  6. Well.. Last night I was playing Cache and I lost, i did pretty bad, even raged at the end since my teammates made the call of where I was.. I did not stay to see the final score or to even say bye to the people I was in the lobby with. Had an issue since I quitted it said I was leaving the match and I should either reconnect or abandond the match. I tried to reconnect, I did, but I had the same bug after the time went off in the server I was playing a matchmaking. So I close CS-GO, then open it again and I had this in my inventory. Forgot to even take ss of the main in csgo, so I took pictures with my mobile phone, I was in shock M4A1-S | Hot Rod A Factory New with a float of: 0.0093871839 I can believe my luck, its an expensive weapon. Download the demo, but the drop of the gun is not showed since I quitted, Its weird.. Im just happy!
  7. Well.... I got scammed. You can go read my status to see what happened. But here is where I ask for help, as in maybe skins you don't use, or some skins that you have more than one of. I am not saying you have to, but I am also asking for any help I can get on how I can get my items back. Thank you -sonofdoc

  9. With ESL One Cologne already on the cards, it's hardly a surprise that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's best-endowed league is also returning for 2016. Last year, we streamed 30 million hours of the ESL One Pro League, and it looks as if ESL is planning to push the event from 'large' to 'ludicrous' starting February 9 and coming to a head in May. The prize pool has increased 50% to $1.5 million, and live, in-person viewership will be heavily promoted, but it's a snippet from Vice President of Pro Gaming Ulrich Schulze that has my attention: "It’s not just offline audiences we’re aiming for: television broadcasts, a higher standard of online production, a continued emphasis on competitive integrity—these are just some of the things you will see this year.” The statement reads as an acknowledgment of the pitfalls esports has skirted in 2015 and a major boast: yes, there's been trouble, but look, we're on telly! Despite being altogether more inconvenient than streaming, television is still treated as the Grail of acceptance and respectability for esports. I'm intrigued to see how and where CS:GO will be broadcast, and who that televisual CS:GO-watching demographic consists of. The full rundown and schedule of the 24 teams taking part will soon be available on the ESL Pro League website. Source http://www.pcgamer.com/csgo-pro-league-returns-with-15m-prize-pool/

  10. It has not been a strong few weeks for the CS:GO dev team. I reported on Friday that the Winter Update's maligned R8 revolver had been nerfed after only three days—obscene stopping power and pinpoint accuracy for its price had effectively killed eco rounds. Now, Valve has rolled back the accompanying tweaks to pistols and rifles, stating "we likely changed too much too quickly". For rifles, the changes boiled down to decreasing accuracy, and the latest CS:GO blog post details the rationale behind them: Valve was hoping to make spraying less appealing compared with burst fire. Instead, the patch made all forms of fire less accurate and people kept on spraying anyway, penalising the minority who do tap fire. A full roll-back is a spectacular step down for a company running a competitive game, and the saga has left many wondering (not for the first time) why Valve doesn't run larger trials before foisting changes on the whole population. This time, the magnitude of the misstep has clearly sunk in. "We failed to anticipate the reaction of the community to changes in such heavy-use weapons," the blog reads, "and we clearly need to re-evaluate our process for making and communicating about changes in that space." It's becoming a common refrain from Valve, but perhaps the latest uproar will prevent drastic changes from appearing out of the blue in future. 11. Merry Christmas, everyone! Peace, goodwill and OP revolvers to all men, isn't that how the saying goes? Well, it's too early to call OP on the new Desert Eagle-slot R8, but Counter-Strike sure is sexing it up: The R8 costs a mere $850 and a body shot will be enough to drop anyone, regardless of body armour. Presuming you can judge those lengthy trigger-pulls, that appears to be monstrous stopping power, but our best man is on the job so we'll have solid analysis for you soon. Joining the R8 in the Winter Update is the Killer Replay feature, which allows you to relive your deaths from your opponent's perspective in Demolition and Casual modes. Given that this will force me to confront how many deaths are my own damn fault, I'm not entirely thrilled. In competitive matchmaking, meanwhile, your team is now able to vote for a 60-second timeout if the stress is all getting a bit much for you. Of course, all of this pales to insignificance against the news that chickens now have Christmas jumpers. Source http://www.pcgamer.com/csgo-winter-update-adds-festively-obscene-pistol/
  12. CS:GO's deathmatch maps don't get a ton of love. They're generally thought of as arcadey warm-ups for its traditional, team-based modes. But modder Zool Smith has been experimenting with an interesting Quake-themed free-for-all map for CS:GO. With lava waterfalls as a backdrop, F4ST Castle lays out jump pads, item and health pickups alongside accelerated movement that enables easy bunnyhopping and makes players more elusive. Does the AWP make a decent railgun replacement? You be the judge. CS:GO's lack of a rocket launcher may leave you missing true arena style-weapons in this context, but it's neat to see someone tinkering with this sort of crossover. F4ST Castle isn't yet up on Steam Workshop, but you can admire Zool's other projects in the meanwhile, which include a first-person take on Mario in Garry's Mod, new particle effects for TF2, and turning TF2's go-kart minigame into Mario Kar Source http://www.pcgamer.com/
  13. After much community demand, Valve has rolled out a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive patch addressing complaints about character animations and hitbox detection. It's a mammoth update, but the biggest change is probably the brand new player body and world model weapon animations. The studio has also created a solution to the enduring problem of weapon models sometimes sticking through walls, doors or other surfaces (for a good demonstration of that problem, check out this video). Oh, and the M4A1-S now has reduced price, armor penetration, ROF and an increased base spread. Source http://www.pcgamer.com/
  14. The 2015 edition of ESL One Cologne is now underway, with 16 top-ranked Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams battling in the Group Stage for entry into the quarterfinals. Four teams will make the move today, and another four will advance on Friday. The teams in competition are divided into four groups: Group A features Team SoloMid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Renegades, and Counter Logic Gaming; Group B contains Team EnVyUs, Luminosity Gaming, Team Kinguin, and FlipSid3 Tactics; Group C has Fnatic, Natus Vincere, Titan, and Team eBettle; and Group D boasts Virtus.Pro, mouseports, Cloud9, and Team Immunity. On Friday, the groups will be redrawn for eight more Decider/Elimination matches. Right now the favored teams are perpetual champions Fnatic followed by Team SoloMid, a team formed in February that hasn't yet won a major. ESL One Cologne is also interesting this year because, for the first time ever, ESL will conduct randomized drug testing during the competition. The move comes in response to a claim by former Cloud9 player Kory "Semphis" Friesen that he and his teammates were on Adderall at ESL One Katowice. The real action will begin on Saturday, with the first quarter-final match scheduled to begin at 4:45 am EDT. Semi-final matches are slated for 5:45 and 9:10 am EDT on Sunday, followed by the big finish at 1 pm EDT the same day. Source http://www.pcgamer.com/

  17. Valve confirms it is working on addressing long-standing issue. Valve has confirmed it is working on tweaking the hitboxes in its competitive shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Hitboxes, which are an invisible part of character models that register collision with bullets, have been a point of criticism for many playing the latest iteration of the popular first-person shooter. Global Offensive's hitbox issues were more recently thrust into the spotlight when a video emerged of a player firing directly into a defenceless enemy at point blank range and doing no damage. The video reached the top of the Counter-Strike subreddit and generated much discussion from incensed members of the community, who decided to send it to Valve employees. Unexpectedly, Valve coder Matt Wood responded by saying hitboxes are "being worked on" but added that the company currently did not have any specific release window for updates that would enact the improvements. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was co-developed by Hidden Path Entertainment and has become a popular title in eSports tournaments. Recently, the professional Global Offensive circuit has been plagued with match fixing. Valve recently issued bans to a number of prominent professional Global Offensive players, preventing them from playing in high-stakes tournaments. Source http://www.gamespot.com/
  18. I've never actually done competitive match before in csgo so I'm a complete noob in MM. Most of the time I play in deathmatch servers so I have a lot of practice. No editing done in this video and video/audio quality is not so good. It only shows the highlight of one match I played plus my first ace towards the end of the video.
